ANGEL DEL SOLAR

Angel del Solar knows the difference between living by design versus living by default. As he emphasizes in his educational classes, having a plan is essential – it involves working hard to achieve your goals instead of simply expecting good things to happen.

Throughout his extensive career in the professional salon industry, Angel del Solar has held various roles and achieved remarkable success stories. He began his journey in the world of hair at the age of 15 as an apprentice with the renowned Luis Romero Salons and instructor at Pivot Point Spain. Swiftly rising to become a master hairstylist and international educator, he moved to the United States at age 26 to join the artistic team at Gene Juarez salons and Spas in Seattle, WA. Later, he established his own successful Angelo Mendi Boutique Salons, earning numerous accolades, including being recognized among the 40 under 40 entrepreneurs in Tacoma, WA.

Over the years, Angel del Solar ventured into diverse ventures, including being on the artistic team for Pureology at L’Oréal, serving as the Art Director for FHI Heat, Enjoy Hair Care, and HBL Hair Care. He also contributed as an educational facilitator in hair design for Redken Exchange in New York.

With a passion for education and mentoring, del Solar moved to Texas to start Credible Culture, a distribution company providing advanced technical and business haircare education along with high-end beauty products to the best salons in Texas.

During this time, he co-founded 18.21 Man Made with his partners, who are also his brothers, aiming to elevate the salon experience for men's grooming and transcend the latest hair fashion and trends. Del Solar takes pride in the thought and craftsmanship put into their products, designed by hairstylists with hairstylists, barbers, and consumers in mind. By promoting the success of his 18.21 Man Made Grooming product company, he became an international respected authority both as a stylist, and now an inventor/entrepreneur.

In the face of the COVID-19 era, Angel del Solar took to social media platforms to share his learnings and experiences with professionals in the hair beauty industry through HAIR BENDER in English and POR LOS PELOS in Spanish, gaining hundreds of thousands of followers and millions of views worldwide.

Today, as Global Creative Director of COCCO® Hair Pro, and as the founder of the new HAIR BENDER MASTER Online Educational website, Angel del Solar continues to focus primarily on education and mentorship taking everything, once again to the next level.
